ABS edgebandings for furnitures
Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) is chlorine free both during manufacturing
and in the final product so that the ABS may be incinerated with general waste.
The ABS edgebandings intended for the sector of the furniture can be produced in three
different types according to customer needs:
- ABS edgebandings Plain Color
- ABS edgebandings Wood Color
- ABS edgebandings Metal
On the back of the edge banding is coated a primer that is reactivated once placed in contact
with the hot melt adhesives used by customers during the manufacturing process of the furnitures.
The edge bandings can be produced in different thicknesses from a minimum of 0.4 mm to a
maximum of 3 mm with various surface finishes in imitation of the panels most commonly used by
furniture industry. It is possible to cut the edge bandings at any height from 18mm.
Technical and safety data sheets are available for all products with specific attention to
the results obtained by test conducted by certified laboratories.
